In a hour or two free this morning I started looking for horses again...

I found an ad for a 15.1 hand high Waler mare... Now those of you that have listerned to me before know that walers rank highly on my list of prefered horse breed, mainly because of a derranged sense of nationalism but also because a friend of mine owns a bloody nice one [link]

So I sent an email; went off to lectures; checked my email, no reply yet; checked the ad again... it had been removed.

Looks like I got in just a bit too late... Damn.

I've also sent off a few emails enquiring about a couple of thouroughbreds and may send one off about an Arab...

Edit: add at least one standardbred to the list.
Edit No# 2: I've certainly missed the Waler, still waiting for replies to most of my enquieries... but have got something back about one of the TBs, just got to get little more info run it past my instructor and then who knows?
Edit No#3: I got some more info on that TB... a matter of hours after my riding lesson. So can't run it past my instructor until next week. But to futher complicate matters my instructor is also thinking of selling one of her TBs... and I'm interested despite having fallen off aforesaid TB on one occasion.

Not much as changed on the 'home front'. I'm still angry with my mother and have avoided all unecessary contact with her since she broke up with my father.

Most of the time it all just fades into the background, but every so often something will bring it to the surface... it's horrid when it happens: anger, starting to border on hate directed at my mother but also intense guilt over feeling that way.
